The King West Vets team is supporting two charity events taking place on Saturday September 8th.  We would love for the King West and Liberty Village community to come out and show their support for pets and people in need.  Feel free to stop by at any time for more information on the events or to provide a donation.

Ride for Farley – Donate Online

The Farley Foundation is an organization that provides financial support to individuals with disabilities for veterinary care of their sick pets.  On Saturday September 8th, Dr. Kent Ackerman will be participating in a 160km bike ride in support of the Farley Foundation.  If you notice him having difficulty walking on the following Monday, you will know why.  Donations can be given in person at King West Vets or online here.  We are hoping to raise $1000 for the cause, so please show your support! For more information about this fantastic organization, please visit the Farley Foundation website.

Bark for Life –

Between 10am and noon on Saturday September 8th in Trinity Bellwoods park there will be a dog walking event, held by the Canadian Cancer Society.  There will be various booths and activities set up for both dogs and people to enjoy.  Dr. Tim Julian will be present to talk about lumps and bumps and different therapeutic options for canine cancer.  Please come out and support this wonderful cause.  For more information and to make a donation, visit the Bark for Life website.

We hope you will come out and join us in support of these great causes!

Best Wishes,
King West Vets Team
